One of the goals of the Belgian Society for Stem Cell Research is to promote Belgian stem cell research, in Belgium and abroad. The board of the BeSSCR is therefore delighted to announce that, together with our friends from the French Society for Stem Cell Research, we will be hosting a joint focussed session at the 2019 ISSCR Annual Meeting which will take place 23-26 June in Los Angeles, USA.
For this session, we have 4 speaker slots for Belgian-based stem cell researchers available. Two slots for a long talk (20 minutes) will be reserved for PI or senior post-doc level scientists, and 2 slots for a short talk (12 minutes) will be allocated to junior post-doc or PhD level scientists.
Importantly, the selected speakers for the junior researcher slots will receive a 500€ travel grant, sponsored by the BeSSCR to help them finance their trip to LA.
In order to select the best speakers for this session, we would like to make a call to all Belgian Stem Cell researchers to submit an abstract describing their most recent work. The BeSSCR board will select the best abstracts in both categories.
